How I Relax : ASMR

Besides taking a hot bath and drinking chamomile tea (which in my opinion taste gross, but it does calm me), there is this one foolproof method that I and many other had discover to get the ultimate relaxation. It is called ASMR. Autonomous sensory meridian response. How I would describe it the way I've been experience it is a damn good feeling in the brain. Some people call it brain massage. Sometimes I get tingles in the head or any other parts of the body.

You can try to google it and get a more detailed elaboration about it or just search the video on youtube and start to experience it. There are so many asmr videos in youtube now. Now it does seem like a weird part of youtube when you first start watching it, but trust me once you start feel the relaxation you're hooked! I've managed to get my sisters to watching asmr and now all of us have a routine of watching asmr before bed.

ASMR worked both ways for me. It can help me sleep when I have trouble sleeping or insomnia and it can also gives me some energy when I'm feeling sluggish.

The ASMRtist is very good at making sounds and hand gestures to give us a relaxing feeling. It's like the good feeling you get when someone plays with your hair or draw on your back when you were little. My favourite ASMR channels are:

1.) Whispersunicorn - I think she has the best voice and technique especially her Spa roleplay, haircut and shave roleplay.

2.) Gentlewhispering - Been called as Queen of ASMR for a reason. She is the most popular among the ASMR community.

3.) MassageAsmr - The only guy ASMRtist that I watched. I like his scalp massage and headache roleplay. Puts me at ease in the office previously.
